Skin Tags Removal – Clinical Method Vs Home Remedy
Skin tags are normally extra piece of flesh hanging from the skin. The tag is covered with a thin skin and is of skin colour only. The exact reason that causes a skin tag is not yet known, but it is seen to surface as one grows in age. People over 60 years of are more susceptible to have this condition.
These skin ailments are neither dangerous nor life threatening, although a physician may after physical examination of the tags decide to have them tested for malignancy. In the medical science there are various methods to remove these ugly feel skin tags. The method used will depend on the size of the tag and its location on the body. The most common one though is the removal of the tag by tying tightly a suture around it. It is then left to dry off and after some times it falls by itself.
Another method in which the skin tag is frozen with the help of nitrogen gas. The tag gradually dries up and falls off by itself. The third procedure is called the electro surgery. The skin tag is cut of by passing electric current. This method could result in bleeding from the exposed wound.
In all these methods, while the tag on the skin is removed, it is not certain if it would reappear. This could be devastating as the entire effort, pain and cost goes in the bin.
There is however, another method of removing these tags. This is by following proven home remedies. Home remedies are normally done by items available in your home kitchen. Sometimes you may have to pick up some ingredient from outside. They are therefore cheap. Home remedies do not involve and clinical procedure and hence are painless. Above all home remedies cure the cause from its root therefore there are lesser chances of the condition reappearing. Home remedies normally take longer time to show results.
