Why settle for bath and body treatments that don’t live up to their labels when you can make organic beauty products at home? Many commercial products say “organic” on the label, but upon closer examination may contain many non-organic ingredients. As an example, I recently checked out a bottle of lotion that features the word “organic” prominently in the name of the product. Upon closer examination, I learned that this particular lotion is really only 72% from organic sources. Misleading to say the least! This is very commonplace with many commercial skin care products.
Many people exhibit severe allergies and sensitivities; it has been theorized that this is because of the body becomes overloaded with synthetics, minerals and chemicals such as sulfates, bleach and others, oxidants and free radicals, or preservatives, which create an overload of the liver and body systems, resulting in sensitivities and allergies. Organic beauty products and health remedies can offer synthetic free, chemical preservative free, synthetic fragrance free products which eliminates the irritations to your body and system, allowing you to live a more pure and clean life.
It is these ingredients which deprive them of their ability to provide effective and permanent results. Stating it differently, it is the wonderful natural substances used as ingredients in natural products which provide them with the power to provide effective and permanent results.
The chemical makeup of jojoba oil is very similar to the human sebum that is produced by the skin. Studies have shown it to reduce wrinkles and stretch marks and help heal blemishes and scars. Avocado oil has been shown to lighten the skin as well as help increase the production of collagen and elastin.
Moisturizing. Unless you suffer from acne or special skin conditions, moisturizing is a must-have in any good beauty routine. Even those with oily skin can benefit from moisturizing, because already-hydrated skin may stop pores from producing excess oil. The major ingredients that you want to steer clear of in moisturizing creams are petroleum oil and mineral oil, which can clog pores and form a film over skin to prevent it from breathing. Consider using an organic moisturizer or a creamy mashed banana, which can deliver the same vitamins and minerals as commercial moisturizers.
There is a difference between natural beauty products and organic beauty products. Natural products come from unprocessed sources, or sources processed with other natural products. Preservatives are usually necessary in these products to extend their shelf life. Using pump tubes and squeeze tubes minimizes the likelihood of product going bad before you can use it all up.
Originally, I had been searching the internet looking for natural and organic beauty products, as well as, pure and genuine jewelry to purchase for my family and myself. Then the thought hit me, that the hours I had invested for my family and I, could benefit anyone looking for the same quality and type of products. You also need to be mindful of certain words that may appear on the organic skin care product packaging. If the words organic and natural are present, this simply means that the organic skin care product was made with SOME certified ingredients. It does not represent a 100% organic product; nor does it represent a chemical free product. The only phrase than ensures a completely organic product is certified organic with no synthetic ingredients.
Organic health and beauty products are almost an oxymoron waiting to happen. However, thanks to the resources that the internet has to offer this oxymoron has come to cease to exist.
The cosmetics featured here have an absolutely beautiful palate that could work for anyone. They may be a little more expensive, but they are not tested on animals and come from mother earth herself.
